Twitter Wall

This temporary Madagascar exhibit featured a live twitter feed which allowed guest to directly interact with scientists and museum staff via twitter. A tall narrow touchscreen allowed users to explore all tweets featuring the hashtag #ThinkExtinct. Using their own device they could tweet using the hashtag and see their tweet appear on the screens feed. If a guest didn't have a twitter account or device, an iPad kiosk was provided for them to submit tweets using a generic gallery account (all content submitted to the iPad was moderated before being posted to twitter). The scientists of other Museum support staff would respond to the tweets usually at least once a day.
